Recycling items can be a fantastic way to be kind to the planet and the animals in our shelters but also to give a new life or purpose to a forgotten item and “rescue” it from going to trash.

How you can help ROLDA to rescue more animals by recycling?

Please choose one of the current options for recycling and help ROLDA UK reach more animals in need:

Recycle ink cartridges

Recycle your used printer cartridges for ROLDA UK and help us do more for animals in need. ROLDA has teamed up with Recycle4Charity to help raise funds for injured, homeless and abused animals —while helping the environment.

Please follow these steps to choose ROLDA when recycling the ink:
● Go to https://www.recycle4charity.co.uk/register.aspx
● Type ROLDA and it will appear: “ROLDA – C85613 will earn a donation for each wanted list cartridge sent to us”
● Fill email, full name
● Make sure to tick the first box if you want to receive e-news from ROLDA to check the impact of your efforts to help our cause

“Your chosen beneficiary may like to keep you up to date with their work. Please tick this box if you consent to receiving communications from them.”

Donate your Stamps

You can now donate your used stamps to raise much-needed funds for ROLDA UK. All kinds of stamps are welcome, on or off paper.

Simply cut or carefully rip the postage stamp from the used envelope, being careful that you don’t damage the stamp, and once you have a collection, pop them in an envelope, making sure you have the correct postage to:

Recycling for Good Causes will arrange collections for larger quantities of stamps weighing over 10 kg. This equates to about two buckets full of stamps.

Reduce your carbon pawprint with Recycling for Good Causes

Recycle your broken and unwanted jewellery, watches, and UK or foreign banknotes of any age to help protect the environment and raise money for ROLDA UK. All you have to do is place your items in an envelope of your choice (roughly A5 in size) and print and attach the freepost label (which can be downloaded on this link)

Recycle your old car

Charity Car organises the free collection and recycling of any vehicle in the UK.

Charity Car accepts cars that are beyond repair and ready to be recycled, they say they usually don’t accept motorbikes or caravans.

Our partners at Recycling for Good Causes will reuse and recycle the jewellery and Banknotes, giving the proceeds to ROLDA UK, saving precious raw materials at the same time.

If you would like to send your jewellery and banknote recycling to us, simply use your own envelope or jiffy bag (No bigger than A5 in size) and post free of charge by printing out the freepost label below and attaching to your envelope.

*Please do not send coins or stamps to the freepost address as the postage costs will far outweigh your donation.*
